As one of the key players in advancing innovation and entrepreneurship in the region, DISC-TBI engaged in a fruitful conversation with Congressman Faustino “Inno” Dy V, Representative of the 6th District of Isabela, October 4.

The meeting discussion focused on the innovation and entrepreneurial agenda of DISC-TBI for homegrown startups in the Cagayan Valley Region. One of the key highlights of the conversation was the planned Innopreneurship (Innovation-Entrepreneurship) program for faculty researchers at the university. Cong. Inno pledged to support this program as it empowers and encourages faculty researchers to innovate groundbreaking technologies that will benefit the community and contribute to scaling up the economy of the region.

Cong. Inno Dy is expected to give his message of support on the launching of the Innovative Startup Ordinance in the City of Cauayan during the Industry-Academe Congress on Technologies for Smart City (i-ACT4SmartCity) on October 16 at Isabela Convention Center, Cauayan City, Isabela.
