Start-up Commercialization Roadmap Training Workshop Day 1

In line with its commitment to fuel the startup economy in the Cagayan Valley Region and nurture technology-based enterprises aligned with smart city technologies, the DOST ISU Smart City Technology Business Incubator (DISC-TBI), in partnership with EVODINE – ExoAsia Innovation, commenced the 2-day Startup Commercialization Roadmap at the DISC-TBI Training Hall, December 11.

The two-day training workshop aimed to achieve several key objectives, including conducting Investability Assessments for startups, establishing a profound understanding of the relationship between venture teams and financial aspects, showcasing an organic marketing approach for heightened product awareness, and guiding teams to better connect with members, stakeholders, and customers to optimize lead-to-sale conversion rates.

On Day 1, Mr. Mark Philip Commadante, CEO of EXOASIA Innovation Hub, provided insights into the overview of EVODINE ASIA.

Additionally, Mr. Jacinto Asuncion Jr., EXOASIA Innovation Hub Director for Partnerships, and Mr. Commadante conducted one-on-one Startup Investability Assessments for each startup. This assessment involves a detailed evaluation of the Technology Readiness Level (TRL), Business Readiness Level (BRL), and Investment Readiness Level (IRL) to gauge the potential for investment in the venture initiative or project.

EVODINE – ExoAsia, a pivotal player in this initiative, adopts an Evidence-Based Outcome Driven Investable Enterprise (EVODINE) approach. This approach emphasizes evidence-based decision-making, outcome-driven strategies, and the development of investable enterprises geared for long-term success. The company also extends vital support through technology partnerships and back-office assistance, ensuring founders can concentrate on product development and customer validation.
