January 17 marked as one of the remarkable days for the KinetiCar Squad as they represented not just the Cagayan Valley Region but the entire Philippines in the recently concluded Tech Venture Meetup 2024 held at MRANTI Park, Bukit Jalil 57000, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The KinetiCar Squad led by its co-founder, Mr. Edwardo Magallanes along with Mr. Jr Palattao, Dr. Janette Fermin, and Ms. Learni Javier attended the event. This served as an avenue for them to present their technology to investors and connect with angel investors, venture capitalists, government agencies, multinational and local corporations, and startups from other countries.

The morning session included startup pitches, partner presentations, VIP booth tours, and a keynote speech delivered by Datuk Ts. Dr. Mohd Nor Azman Hassan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI) Malaysia.

In the afternoon sessions, startups delved into a panel discussion titled “Navigating Uncharted Waters: How Deep Tech Startups are Redefining Traditional Industries”. The event concluded with closing remarks led by Mr. Abdul Hakim Sahidi, Managing Director of Leave a Nest Malaysia.

Tech Venture Meetup is a unique platform for startups, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals to connect, collaborate, and explore exciting new opportunities. With nearly 170 attendees, including 60 startups and representatives from prominent organizations such as 1337 Ventures, Antler, Artem Ventures, Bawatana, Cradle Fund, Have a Second Look, Ikhlas Capital, Indelible Ventures, Iskandar Investment Berhad, Kaizenvest, Khazanah, Mizuho Bank, Netrove, NEXEA, Penjana Kapital, Petronas Ventures, Plug and Play, Sunway CVC, The HIVE, and Xeraya Capital.
