To monitor the first-quarter activities and address concerns regarding its second-year implementation, the DOST PCIEERD’s Research Information and Technology Transfer Division (RITTD), led by Engr. Edward Paul Apigo, Senior Science Research Specialist, and Engr. Reynaldo Badua, Project Manager, along with other Project Technical Staff of DOST PCIEERD – Engr. Leean Basaen, and Engr. Genesis Fel Alitagtag – conducted monitoring for the HEIRIT Project: Establishment of Smart City Technology Business Incubator, now popularly known as DOST ISU Smart City Technology Business Incubator (DISC-TBI), on April 12, 2024, at the 2nd Floor Gymnasium, ISU Cauayan.
The monitoring began with a brief presentation of the year 1 and year 2 quarter 1 accomplishment reports.
As a thriving Smart City TBI in the region, the face-to-face monitoring offered benefits by providing mentorship for the DISC-TBI Team to align its operation with its target deliverables.
The monitoring concluded with comments and recommendations from the RITTD Team, discussing the next steps and acknowledging DISC-TBI’s initiatives towards promoting smart and sustainable projects and fostering the startup atmosphere in the Cagayan Valley Region.
