Excited to share that DISC-TBI recently connected with Data Lake Inc. and CloudSwyft in an exploratory meeting, August 2.
The meeting focused on developing a Proof of Concept (POC) to pilot test Data Lake’s Starlink internet connectivity, for a technology validation. This will link the Isabela State University Business Intelligence Research and Development Center – BIRDC with a pilot barangay in Cauayan City, using the research center as a test bed facility for DISC-TBI incubatees.
Additionally, CloudSwyft’s virtual laboratory technologies were discussed, exploring the creation of a POC to be pilot tested at College of Computing Studies, Information and Communication Technology, ISU Cauayan Campus. This initiative opens opportunities for integrating cutting-edge technologies to strengthen innovation and quality education towards generating industry-ready graduates.
The meeting was led by Prof. Betchie Aguinaldo, DISC-TBI Project Lead, concurrently the Director of BIRD-C; Dr. Reynaldo Corpuz, Dean of CCSICT; and Prof. Arnel Fajardo, TBI Manager, along with CCSICT faculty members.
Linking startups with industries aligned with their field is one of the services offered by DISC-TBI through its incubation program.
Looking forward to collaborating and driving innovation together!
