DISC-TBI Cohort 2 startups convened for the week 2 Touch N’ Go Training Workshop sessions, focusing on Creating a Business Model Canvas and Customer Discovery Process, held via Zoom on February 28.
Mr. Abad Enriquez, Training and Innovation Consultant, was the assigned speaker for the mentioned topics. The training session commenced with a quick “kamustahan” and icebreaker, followed by a recap of week 1 topics, which included creating customer personas, and asking the participants for their takeaways from the previous sessions.
Mr. Enriquez began his lecture by providing a brief introduction to the key elements of the business model canvas. To make the workshop more interactive, he presented an example project, which served as the focus subject for startups in creating their business model canvas. To foster connections among the startups, they were randomly placed into breakout rooms to ideate and formulate their answers.
In order to enable DISC-TBI startups to make data-driven decisions and develop a deep understanding of their target customers, leading to the creation of products and services that meet their needs and preferences, Mr. Enriquez outlined the key points and flow of the customer discovery process. His lecture emphasized strategies for developing customer discovery questions.
The training sessions concluded with a discussion forum, encouraging participants to raise questions on the aforementioned topics.
