The Board of Regents (BOR) of Isabela State University, led by the Board of Regents Chaiperson and CHED Commissioner Dr. Marita Canapi, has approved the Operational Manual for the DOST ISU Smart City Technology Business Incubator (DISC-TBI) during the BOR meeting held at Eurotel North Edsa, Project 7, Quezon City, on November 28, 2024.
DISC-TBI Project Lead, Dr. Betchie Aguinaldo, spearheaded the development of the manual under the Higher Education Institution Readiness for Innovation and Technopreneurship (HEIRIT) Program. The manual provides a comprehensive framework for the effective management of the incubator, outlining the guidelines, procedures, and policies that will govern its operations.
The manual is designed to ensure the continued sustainability of DISC-TBI and its long-term impact on the development of technology-based businesses in Region II.
In line with this milestone, DISC-TBI expresses its gratitude to the Board of Regents for their support in advancing innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.
