The iDeaTech Challenge is an annual student event organized by the DISC-TBI to promote innovation and collaboration in the Cagayan Valley Region. It aims to encourage creative thinking, generate ideas aligned with sustainable development goals, and prepare participants for pitching their innovative technology ideas to potential investors.

Who are we looking for?

The iDeaTech Challenge is open to college students and young professionals with at most 5 years of experience after graduation.

Teams must consist of 3 to 5 members.

Diversity: Encourage diversity by including members from different academic programs and universities.

Faculty/Expert Involvement: At least one faculty member, professional, or industry practitioner must be part of each team.

No Multiple Teams: Individuals cannot be part of more than one team.

Team Stability: Changes to teams on the event day are not allowed; any changes must be communicated in advance.

Technology Readiness Level

Prototype must be at least under the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 2, wherein the technology concept was already formulated or at least under the basic of technology research and further developed to validate in the actual environment
