The Smart City TBI presented its smart city initiatives and its role in the region’s startup ecosystem during the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s 33rd North Luzon Area Business Conference (PCCI’s 33rd NLABC) held at the Isabela Convention Center in Cauayan City, Isabela, on August 9.
Cauayan City Mayor Caesar “JC” Dy Jr. also announced the institutionalization of the TBI through the Innovative Startup Ordinance, which seeks to provide incentives and support to homegrown startups.
Anchored on the theme “Empowering North Luzon for a Sustainable Future,” this year’s 33rd NLABC focuses on Digital Connectivity, Agriculture and Food Security, Investment Opportunities, and Tourism. The conference aims to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and explore opportunities for sustainable economic growth in the region.
Led by the PCCI North Luzon, the 33rd NLABC brought together leaders from the country’s largest business organization and key policymakers and executives from the local governments in Isabela province.
Smart City TBI’s participation in this event opens opportunities to scout potential investors for its homegrown startups, which are currently in the prototype enhancement and pilot testing stages.
