Start-up Commercialization Roadmap Training Workshop Day 2

Following the intensive one-on-one Startup Investability Assessment on day 1 of the 2-day Start-up Commercialization Roadmap Training Workshop, DOST ISU Smart City Technology Business Incubator (DISC-TBI) start-ups gathered for the second day’s session. The workshop, focused on Money Psychology, Marketing, and Sales Funnel, was led by Mr. Mark Philip Comandante, CEO of EXOASIA Innovation Hub. The event took place at the DISC-TBI Brainstorming Area, December 12.


During this segment of the training workshop, founders and team members of the startups gained insights into the psychological aspects of handling finances. The session aimed to help them understand how to shape their customers’ mindsets, ultimately leading to increased product awareness. The workshop also emphasized the importance of adopting a simplified marketing approach and reinforcing the validation of Problem-Solution-Market Fit assumptions.


Participants were challenged to become adaptive, critical thinkers with a business-oriented mindset as Mr. Comandante delved into various topics, including Money Management, the Power of Mindset and Habits, Structures for Financial Freedom, Marketing Strategies, Frameworks for Selling, and Sales.


The workshop provided a platform for startups to enhance their understanding of financial psychology and refine their marketing and sales strategies, fostering a more robust foundation for their entrepreneurial endeavors.
